MMF (Multimode Fiberoptic Cable) - an explanation
Fiberoptic cable in which signal or light propagates in multiple modes or paths. Since
these paths may have varying lengths, transmitted pulse of light may be received at
different times and smeared so pulses may interfere with surrounding pulses. May cause
signal to be difficult or impossible to receive, sometimes limiting distance over which
MMF link can operate.
